A desktop application for preparing, validating and publishing structured Microsoft Word content as web-based learning courses and digital handbooks.
The current commercial release supports Apple Silicon Macs running supported versions of macOS. A Windows installer is not currently included. Please check the published system requirements before purchasing.
No programming is required for standard course authoring. Learning Studio uses a structured Word document approach, with guidance and examples provided. Advanced features, including interactive R and JavaScript activities, are also supported but require users to supply suitable code and follow the documented authoring instructions.
The annual subscription includes access to Learning Studio, the customer documentation, two demonstration courses, available updates during the subscription period and email support.
Learning Studio uses a local-first authoring and publishing workflow. Online connectivity is required for licence activation and periodic validation.
Learning Studio generates web-based learning courses that can be viewed locally, hosted on a web server, or made available through learning management systems (LMS) such as Moodle. Courses can be linked from an LMS or integrated using supported embedding options, depending on the platform and hosting configuration. Learning Studio does not automatically upload courses to an LMS.
