About the course

Humanitarian crises are complex and fast-moving. Many professionals feel unsure how to use AI without compromising humanitarian principles. This course addresses those concerns directly, showing you how to apply Generative AI practically, ethically, and responsibly. Grounded in the Generative AI Capability Framework, you’ll learn through short lessons, real-world scenarios, and hands-on activities. By the end, you’ll have the skills and confidence to use AI to support decision-making, coordination, and resilience — without losing sight of humanitarian values.
